Nestled amidst the beautiful Racecourse Road, our luxurious and down to earth salon is the best way to unwind and have a slice of ‘you time’.

Here at Milk Hair we use the Wella colour range. Wella offers an innosense range which is formulated without PPD and PTD. These colours are specifically designed for clients with scalp sensitivity and allergies. Please advise if this might be you, as we can cater to your needs. We also stock Everescents Organic and Bhave.

We achieve this through our knowledge, professional experience, and skill in our industry standards. I have what feels like a life-long fascination with hair, with how every part of our story plays out in what we see, and the ability for our hair to showcase the very raw and real beauty that exists in every one of us.
As the driving force behind the vision of Milk Hair, I studied Hairdressing in 1999 in Townsville, starting my career in a boutique salon located in the city centre. Feeling I needed more, I moved to the UK to see what the other side of the world could offer me. I ended up working over there for five years and in that time became a hairdressing teacher in Aberdeen Scotland.
After returning to Australia.
What I found next though was that I couldn’t find a role where I could bring my vision to life – where I could truly care for my clients in a space where I could bring together science, and a love for building relationships with people.
I knew exactly the experience I wanted to create and armed with international experience and qualifications, I went in search of a business that could provide the foundation for bringing that vision to life.
That business was Milk Hair, which I purchased in May 2013.
